IRF Staff Visits Cincinnati Zoo

IRF Program Officer Bill Konstant recently visited the Cincinnati Zoo, where he gave a presentation about the world’s rarest rhinos as part of the Zoo’s Barrows Lecture Series.  During his visit, he also met several member of the Zoo’s animal collection up close and personal, including Harapan, the last remaining Sumatran rhino in a US zoo, and took the  opportunity to speak to Cincinnati’s American Association of Zoo Keepers chapter about ways to help support  the protection of wild rhino populations.

  1. It is great to see Harapan ‘passphoto’ and Pak Bill. Seems that Harapan is a big boy and with less hair now. Wish to both all the best.
