Happy Cinco de Rhino! During this one day, we’re trying to raise $10,000 for rhino conservation – and to get people around the world talking about the importance of protecting endangered rhinos and their habitats. Can you help?
$5 will provide one day’s fuel for anti-poaching patrols protecting Sumatran rhinos in Way Kambas National Park.
$25 will provide one day’s fuel and support for rhino security patrols in Zimbabwe’s Bubye Valley Conservancy.
$50 will help buy a sniffer dog to track poachers in Southern African rhino reserves.
$100 will purchase drugs needed to safely immobilize Greater One-Horned rhinos to translocate them to secure habitats in India.
$250 will allow a Javan Rhino Protection Unit in Indonesia’s Ujung Kulon National Park to patrol on foot or by boat for one week.
$500 will purchase laboratory equipment to help vets at the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary expand its captive breeding program.
