Fan Favorite Harapan

Chances are if you know anything about Sumatran rhinos, you’ve already heard of Harapan. Born at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden in 2007, and now living at the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary in Way Kambas, Indonesia, Harapan has inspired and delighted fans all over the world.

Already a global ambassador for his species, it’s no wonder why we’ve chosen Harapan as one of our adoptable Sumatran rhinos. By adopting Harapan you’ll not only help take care of him and the other rhinos at the SRS, you’ll help protect wild Sumatran rhinos and save this species from extinction.
