Anti-poaching patrols in India's Manas National Park

Anti-poaching patrols in India’s Manas National Park are conducted on foot, in vehicles and on elephant-back, which gives forest guards a broad view of the surrounding landscape. Guards deploy daily from camps placed strategically throughout Manas, and can also scan vast areas of the park from atop the camp observation towers.
