IRF Program Officer Bill Konstant is attending the 40th annual conference of the American Association of Zookeepers (AAZK) this week in Greensboro, North Carolina. AAZK chapters host Bowling for Rhinos events each year to support wildlife conservation efforts in Africa and Asia, including Sumatran and Javan Rhino Protection Units (RPUs) in Indonesia.  Last year’s events raised $337,000, a record that will likely be shattered in 2013. AAZK’s goal is for Bowling for Rhinos to eventually raise $500,000 each year.
