Re-purpose Your ‘Corks For Conservation’ into a Rhino Ornament
Corks for Conservation kits have been very popular since they arrived in the Rhino Shop earlier this year. If you are one of the many who have purchased a kit (or even if you haven’t yet), then we wanted to share this tip straight from Mandy Siegel Fahy – Founder at Corks for Conservation – on turning your rhino into a rhino ornament!
Each package comes with twine that makes it great for hanging on a gifted bottle of wine. Once the rhino is assembled, all you need is that original twine and a push pin to create your own hanging rhino ornament!
You can even use your own festive string or ribbon if you prefer.
Either way, we think this easy craft makes a great addition to any tree or other home decor and this set makes a great gift for any rhino – or wine -lover on your list.

About Corks For Conservation
Corks for Conservation was established earlier this year with the goal of helping to raise funds to support wild rhino conservation efforts. Proceeds from the bulk of their sales benefits IRF and our on-the-ground conservation programs around the world.
Corks for Conservation has made every effort to make their products as environmentally friendly as possible. Each set contains 3D-printed rhino head, legs and tail plus a pin for insertion into a wine cork (you supply the cork). By using 3D-printing, there is little to no waste from production. The material used is a plant-based plastic – which means it is energy efficient to produce and commercially compostable. Each set comes in boxes that are 100% recycled content.
